I was talking to someone the other day, and they were wondering why the King of the Universe would be born in a dirty manger and not in some fancy castle with high thread count linens, the Mozart of His day spending day and night playing lullabies on a harp, and the most attentive nurses...basically the best this world has to offer.
But what makes us think we have ANYTHING good enough to offer to the King of the Universe?
Maybe our kings and queens can be satisfied with jewels and linens and court jesters, but My King isn't interested in those things which time will rust and ruin. He's interested in something FAR more precious - your heart, your mind, your soul.
Consider giving Him THAT today. And let His example teach us the true meaning of valuable.
